Not unlike Carrie Bradshaw, I'm a self-proclaimed Shoe gal. What is it about shoes that makes me so happy? Maybe it's the possibility of the unknown adventure each pair may hold? Or maybe, plain and simple: I find them pretty. As much as I love (and own) a wide variety of high heel stilettos and chunky platform wedges ... a girl likes to have her comfortable sneakers and sturdy ankle boots too. The better to run last minute errands around town in.

And hey, they're just as cute too.

" EARRINGS " Pearls and Branches

Whilst browsing Fab'rik's baubles and wares, my eyes fell upon these darling earrings. Where inspiration struck in the form of coral reefs and Chanel Ready-to-Wear. Remember the decadent Spring 2012 Show from Chanel? Now all I can dream about is a seashell clutch and a Spring wardrobe drenched in white pearls and milky sequins.

Marie Antoinette Would Wear this Ring

I was recently contacted by Alex Inn to play with a few pieces of her fabulous jewelry designs. My first choice? This YSL Arty Oval style ring in red. Remember how much I loved and wore my YSL turquoise one last summer here? And here.

The only thing this ring is missing is a room full of party guests and red velvet mini cakes à la Marie Antoniette (the Kirsten Dunst version) ...Mmm.

There's something Cosmic about the design of this modern necklace. It kind of reminds me of an intergalactic spaceship. Star Trek, Star Wars anyone? Very cool to piece into an everyday look for some added pizazz. When I first wore it, my Mom wanted to steal it away from me. ;)

I've always found sneakers to be ugly and not part of a Fashionable outfit. Excluding Converse, of course. The design is timeless, so much so, that this basketball sneaker worn as early as 1908 is still as hip and functional today. We're talking about a Century later. They're beyond comfortable and add some edge to skinny jeans. They're perfect for a rainy day or for sightseeing around New York City. I used to worry I'd look short in sneakers but since I'm 5'7" it's not so bad. Unless, I'm standing next to a Supermodel, of course. ;)

Fluorescent and Friendship Bracelets

Growing up in the eighties, friendship bracelets were all the rage. I bet I still have some stashed away in my memory boxes. I used to buy them at the roller skating rink. My cousin and I would doll up our hair in big, poofy Madonna ponytails, wear chunky socks and pile on the friendship bracelets. I'm so glad neon friendship bracelets are back.
