Knee Socks & Wren Fall 2010

{ Top-Bottom: Jessica Simpson Dany platforms, Jeffrey Campbell Charlie clogs, Juicy Couture socks }

{ Wren Fall 2010 Lookbook }

I'm stuck on Fall. I keep finding myself pulling for November ready pieces as I begin to get dressed. I'm over Summer. I'm hoping for cascading capes, chunky knit knee socks, navy palettes, lots of spots and impressionist inspired frocks come Fall.

Wren Tee. American Apparel Interlock Mini Skirt. Love Label heels. Noir Panther ring. Forever 21 coin necklace.

I've been reading a lot of new books lately like The Witches by Roald Dahl and Coraline by Neil Gaiman. I love books. Matilda by Dahl and The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein were some of my firsts as a kid. Every once in a while I like to channel my inner "child" and do "kid" things like reading Mrs. Piggle Wiggle or running through the sprinklers with a popsicle in my mouth.

I also rented Where The Wild Things Are and watched it last night. I want to hear your thoughts. I will say I expected more... just a little bit.

Check out my SHOP for newly added items.

One Raindrop Raises the Sea

When I was a little girl I remember not only being infatuated with the film Free Willy but also with the soundtrack. That Christmas I got my very first portable cassette Walkman and album to the movie. I remember riding my bike around my neighborhood with tape in tow on repeat, cheerfully singing along for all to hear. To this day, I still enjoy listening to music with headphones while riding my bike, I just don't sing as freely.
Michael Jackson's voice is not only soothing and inspiring but so full of soul..... something meant to share with the World.
