The Last Unicorn

A miniature capsule of enchanting fixations.
Lately photography blogs and sites have been inspiring me left and right. Voila, another Collage is born. The Ashish for Topshop platforms, dead center, would easily feed my Chanel clog cravings (come Spring) in one fell swoop.
Crochet, Abbey Lee, Natalia Vodianova, haute couture fashion shows, Givenchy, Charlotte Lohmann, balloons, pretty pictures of landscapes, sandals strapped in rainbow hues, Long hair, Dolce and Gabbana footwear, pastel purples, cut offs and blazers, stacked heels, Picasso unbound, extra smokey Halloween eyes, graffiti tights and leggings, Sasha Pivovarova, confetti coats, turquoise accents, red lipstick and polka dots.
Unicorns may be mythical yet they still possess the kind of magic I seem to crave in fashion editorials, haute couture, decadent designs and my imagination, all displayed above. I also think I'm on an extreme platform shoe kick; I just want to keep the train going. Platforms may be a thing of the past, but I will never stop lusting after them.

Missing Miami

This time last year I could wear tank tops and cut offs with sandals. I miss Miami but am excited for Snow. Will it? Rumors say maybe this weekend!! Other excitements in the air: beautiful packages on their way to me via Forever 21, Urban Outfitters and Topshop. I love goodies by mail, especially before Christmas!

Ps. I am on the hunt for the perfect black fingerless gloves. Any ideas!?

Nine West tank. diy cut offs. Bare Style knee socks. A Daisy Chain Dream Unicorn necklace. Vintage bag. Glaze sandals.

I felt the warm embrace through your comments and feedback on my Seth Cohen outfit. Thank you. ;)

Walking On a Dream

I'm really into Empire of the Sun lately, thanks to a reader who sent info my way on a really great band. This Seth Cohen quote always makes me laugh... It's pronounced Tee-ah-HUANA. (Tijuana) God, Mom, you are so white. Happy Cinco de Mayo to those of you who are celebrating today!! Bananas in my cereal add a really happy note to my morning breakfast ritual. Anybody else obsessed with crossword puzzles and/or word searches? They occupy my spare time, especially when stuck in traffic. Excited for Mother's day weekend. A family gathering is in store. Lots of food and fun music. I'm sure a cheesy Powerpoint show of images past and laughter will ensue as well. Lastly, any recommendations of what's good right now, movie theater-wise? I wanted to see Obsessed with Beyoncé and Ali Larter but heard it was kind of weak? Oh and I highly recommend the Ash banyan wedges. I could spend 24 hours standing in them. Most comfortable shoes I own.

Raglan: American Apparel. Dress turned Skirt: Gift from Greece. Necklaces: Forever 21 & Anika. Wedges: Ash.

Unicorn Love.

For as long as I can remember, I have always looked at the symbol of the Unicorn as being majestic, all mighty and above all, beautiful. I used to collect stickers, photos and figurines. I am truly amazed by their beauty, gracefulness and intelligence. They are indeed a mystifying breed.
