Chanel Nail Polish Concoction

I received quite a few inquiring emails about my current nail lacquer du jour... in answer, I grew bored of OPI's muddied gray and decided to create my ideal shade of blue slate gray. I blended You Don't Know Jacques by OPI with White Satin by Chanel. To finish, I mixed in Neo Whimsical by Essie, for a slight blue hue. And... Voila!

I call it Cloudy Skies.

All That Remains

Forever 21 rings. Essie nail polish. Sweet Valley Twins book.

H&M finally opened up shop nearby! Talk about exciting! I even have a gift card to spend. I've wanted to explore their store for years now. I have a feeling my Spring looks just might be sponsored by their collections.

I'm on the hunt for: rings, dresses, skirts and pretty/frilly things.

What do YOU most want to wear this Spring?

Dany Platforms & Essie Spring Polish (Jessica Simpson)

Jessica Simpson Dany in pewter. Thanks, Zappos! Close-Up/Sneak Peek.

Essie Spring 2010 colors.
[L-R]: Lilacism, Neo Whimsical, Pop Art Pink, Red Nouveau, Tart Deco and Van D'Go.

Can you guess the four I chose?

Lately I've been:
Trying out new recipes. Last night I made Angel hair, lemon shrimp, tomato basil pasta. I've invented a new garlic bread (extra olive oil) and tried out chewy gingersnap cookies, with molasses. I'm also catching up on my reading. I just finished Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. My attention was held captive the entire time by the narration given through the main character's thinking process rather than actually speaking out loud. Now, I'm delving into a sea of Judy Blume. Ah the nostalgia!

One Language

  • I am 100% infatuated with my new Sam Edelman boots, I swear they look (almost identical) to MK's F/W '06 Balenciaga ones. Thanks to Nicole for hooking me up!
  • Had a blast with the Photographer yet again. I love his dynamic personality.
  • Thank you Lillian over at One Language for sending over this lovely Haute (one hundred percent natural) canvas tote. I can fit my entire life inside of it. Perfectly chic and efficient at the same time. I love that each design is limited edition, the plenty of pocket space and how they are each lined with handwritten inspirational quotes within.
  • Was inspired by Christing to get this Aldo beret. Thanks, lady!
  • La-Mimi I'm still loving my Essie nail polish in Mesmerize.
