All the Trees of the Field Will Clap Their Hands

I once saw deer play here in the field directly behind me.

There were more, about four, but we could only capture this playful fellow.

Pamela Love rings, the turquoise one on her right ring finger needs to find its way to me somehow.

Playing with feathers in my hair.

Lara Stone should be Lara Croft. I love her edginess.

"Listen with your heart, you will understand."

Pamela Love Crow Necklace. I have wanted a skull necklace like this one for many Moons now.

Like a ballerina ... Bambi Northwood-Blyth.

Inside a Moon in Paris

Finally warm enough to wear my suede Dolce & Gabbana wedges without suffering from fatal toe freeze. I've learned, since moving up North, that really high (closed toe) shoes and cold weather do not mix. They make my toes numb. :/ Is it just me?

Today marks my half-Birthday. In exactly 6 months from today is my real Birthday. What are your St. Patrick's Day (or evening) plans? I usually meet up with friends for cake, dinner and lots of laughs, which will surely ensue once childhood stories start to pop up..

Don't forget to wear some green! ;)

Dolce & Gabbana wedges. Motel body con dress. Forever 21 mesh bag and rings. Asos ribbed maxi skirt. Kirsten Kuehn Feather hair clip. Bebe leather jacket. LuShae Cross Pendant.

Thank you Cameron of Stardust and Sequins for the Proust like Questionnaire.

The Tide is High, let's Walk the Line

My favorite way to mix up my clothing choices is by going the vintage route. These shorts belonged to my Mom when she was in her thirties, vintage Liz Claiborne. She rocked them then, and I will continue to rock them now. I love the satiny softness of the material as well as the ultra practical pockets.

Also, if you are ever looking for an image hosting site, no more bandwidth exceeding, and all fast and free? You can check out ImageSheep.com for reliable service.

And, many thanks to Elle.es for the blog Feature; muchisimas gracias!!!!

Pineapple Wine

Lately I've been obsessed with all things Island, Hawaiian and relaxing. Taking up golf lessons again. And last night I watched Caddyshack II and the OC before bed, I had forgotten my crazy crush on Oliver Trask (Taylor Handley) and my love for all things cheesy in this song by Tom Jones; a song which I will forever be reminded of Oliver Trask by. Seth Cohen and his wit and wisdom always leave me pondering, which by the way (other than Anna Stern) am I the only one who didn't know The Smurfs were 3 apples high in height? And lastly, you are listening to my favorite Bob Marley song; the man is a legend. I feel like sipping on a pineapple something whenever his music pops on......

This oversize t-shirt dress by Babooshka is a dream, a liquid dream in style and the feather headband doubled as an awesome belt. The jodhpur style leggings are as soft as cashmere and equally amazing in design. I'm also overly excited with my newest addition of studded Sam Edelman shoes; they make me think of MK Olsen; always a plus. Enter Chalet for 10% OFF

Thanks to StellaSteff for this Hot Pants feature :)

“Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.”

Had a blast in this last photoshoot. Visions of Pocahontas, cowgirl-gone-bad á la Erin Wasson, and Thanksgiving imagery came to mind. I'm wearing items by Complex Geometries and Urban Renewal, as well as my über favorite ankle booties by Sam Edelman. Thanks to Weardrobe for inviting me to raid the closet.

Some of my Summer obsessions: driving in the rain, watermelon juice, Odwalla smoothies, pineapple & mango salads, long lazy vacations, the beach, mini dresses, making mix cd's & playlists for the car, finding (new) indie designers to wear, making drip sandcastles, buying a new umbrella, going on-a-hunt for the perfect rainboots....

Top: Complex Geometries. Necklace: miss KK. Belt: Urban Outfitters. Ankle boots: Sam Edelman.

Soul Meets Body

Thank you to Moxsie for sending over this very MK Olsen feather necklace, by Miss KK.
I love it. Treasure it.

Tee: Audrey Hepburn. Necklace: Miss KK. Sequin Leggings: Express. Zipper Heels: Go Jane platforms.

Seth Cohen and Death Cab for Cutie are interchangeable. I'm so thankful for Josh Schwartz and his creation of The OC, Seth Cohen and Ryan Atwood as well as for introducing me to some of my favorite bands! I'm also very thankful for my influences: Old Hollywood glamour, feathers, sequins and flapper style pieces; especially from the Audrey Hepburn era. And my other icon? Pocahontas. Soul meets body.........

Happy Friday!!
