Blue Blood

Last night I had this odd dream that I was back in High School but the halls were empty and quiet. Before I could get scared, I met Summer Roberts (circa Season One of the OC) aka Rachel Bilson. It was pretty neat. I woke up before I could meet " Seth Cohen " though ... :(

I was interviewed by Cat of Little Plastic Horses yesterday. Thanks, Cat! You can check it out HERE.

I dream of Jeannie

I finally have some time to rewind and relax; after a long and exhausting week (and weekend) of Holiday hoopla! I was away for almost a week, 6 days to be exact. And now I must prepare for NYE '09. I still don't know what to wear. 50% chance of rain and 50% chance of a cold front coming through. Decisions. Decisions. Any ideas??? I look forward to reading some. On another note, Sweety, our Christmas puppy, learned some cool tricks. How to "sit" and how to "crawl" she's an excellent student. I hope to have some videos up later on in the blog.

Thank you Demi for this award. You left me all teary eyed with what you had to say!!

Fashion Chalet: She is one of the 'queens' of the blogosphere (haha) getting up to 100 comments on each post, yet she answers and replies to every single one individually. She could just be lazy and say 'oh thanks' but she doesn't, she actually cares and replies. I just find this so kind and amazing, it must be incredibly time-consuming!! And she is the loveliest person ever, inside and out!

PS: Your comments always rock my socks and never fail to impress and astound me. Thank you, my lovely readers!!! --YOU ALL deserve the award!!--

Let Them Eat Cake!

This weekend I will be celebrating my Grandmother's 83rd Birthday with some of my family. There is sure to be lots of laughter, cake and cheer in store. My Grandmother may be turning 83, but she still has the spirit of a teenager. "Laughter is the greatest medicine," she always says. I also anticipate seeing Madagascar Escape 2 Africa.

My Mom called today saying a rather large package arrived in my name. Here's hoping it's the exquisite eggplant Foley + Corinna bag I won from Shop Therapy. Thank you. Another exciting surprise was to find myself featured on the other Erika's blog today. Thank you, darling!! You inspire me, too. Here's to a weekend filled with enjoyable escapades all fueled by excitement. I hope you are all taking full advantage of the lovely weather this weekend.

dress, belt and boots: all Vintage; the belt was my Mom's.
