Collaging; it's been a while, Oui? OK, so here you go. I tried my very best to compile my latest obsessions du jour into muse board collage format for you guys. Alexa Chung is mighty high on the list; I find her adorable, just oodles and oodles of cuteness. She totally reminds me of Ramona Quimby from the Beverly Clearly book series; all legs and cute wit. Devon Aoki started my hot as flames model crush in The Fast and The Furious with her hot pink ultra cool car race scenes; this editorial by Camilla Akrans is high in my list of faves. Hot pink is also top knotch with me lately. And Hanky Panky's sexy little bright under things had me at hello. Other A-listers? Isabel Lucas, coincidentally pretty in pink; Carmen Kass in cool boots at the beach; red bags; Acne and their platformed, mirrored and extremely ingenious wedges; frilly bows; Hana Soukupova in a Carrie Bradshaw tutu; Natalia Vodianova channeling Alice in Wonderland; Ali Stephens; Mink Pink; long hair; Alexander Wang, and lastly, pretty things.

Into The Blue

My favorite number is 7. So, today, I'm going to share 7 semi-rare facts about myself with you.

1. I hate change, for me routine is a must, might make me boring, but I like things done in a certain way, every day. I hate to admit it, but whenever I do something impromptu, out of the norm, or simply put, spontaneously; I secretly like it.
2. I always sleep on my right side.
3. My magazine subscriptions always seem to run out just before my favorite: model, actress, or celebrity graces their cover.
4. A day without my Mocha Café is a sad day indeed.
5. I make lists for everything; what I need/want to buy, blogs to visit (all of yours) post it notes are my favorite creation. I also carry a composition notebook with me at all times for jotting down my ideas.
6. I make muse board collages whenever I'm bored. Sometimes I dream of doing the same for a clothing company like Forever 21, American Apparel or Urban Outfitters in real life.
7. I love to sing in private but in front of people I clam up.

Southern Belle

Goodbye July and Hello August! The sparkly red bow in my hair was the firecracker to my July. You can find it along with other equally creative designs by Lisa Kathryn here (http://www.lisakathryn.com).

I was so excited to debut this Vintage find of a skirt, I altered the hem (made it shorter and then gave it a higher waist fit) I gathered the extra fabric in back to make a sort of bouffant poof. Sometimes making something old become new again is more fun than dropping a few hundred bones on the latest trend. Deciding to pair the finished look with my " Givenchy " heels (could almost be twins in design) just seemed right.
