Kate Bosworth nos felicita las fiestas en nombre de Topshop

Ya se oyen trineos, villancicos y, como no, felicitaciones navideñas. La época de la paz, el amor y las cenas copiosas sin descanso es, como cada año, una realidad adelantada a su tiempo. Cuando aún faltan más de dos semanas, Topshop es una de las primeras firmas en felicitarnos la Navidad.
     Kate Bosworth, dirigida por su prometido Michael Polish, canta cual diva de los años 50 para desearnos a todos unas felices fiestas.
     Como puntualización diré que, si os fijáis al final del vídeo, donde apareces los saludos en varios idiomas, lo que Topshop nos desea realmente son 'Felizes Fiestas'...

Louis Vuitton y el leopard print ¡Apúntate!

El estampado de leopardo parece resurgir año tras año escalando puestos en el ranking de estilo. Con tantos detractores como amantes, lo cierto es que sus colores y formas permiten una diversidad de opciones que hacen de él una constante temporada tras temporada.
     Louis Vuitton es una de las firmas fiel al estampado animal más solicitado y le rinde homenaje de la mano de Stephen Sprouse en este vídeo.



Las firmas están dispuestas a facilitar un fondo de armario más accesible y sin renunciar a toda la garra animal.

El rojo y el negro siempre han sido aliados en los looks más sofisticados, pero hoy quiero dar una nueva vuelta de tuerca y añadirle un degradado de grises en un fantástico abrigo de pelo de Topshop.

     Crea un look con el que estarás espectacular tanto de día como de noche. Juega con su colorido a la hora de escoger tu maquillaje, pero te aconsejo que optes por uno natural ya que las prendas llevan la fuerza cromática. Una bonita laca de uñas será perfecta.

Standing in the middle of 7th Avenue for these photos, time seemed to stop. I was surrounded by the ambience and sounds only New York City has to offer. One local even stopped to watch and smile. Horns honked and taxis cabs passed by in a yellow blur. A 12-year-old girl asked if I was here for Fashion Week and which shows I was walking.. I blushed and said only as an attendee. Since it was cold (in February) I took advantage of pairing ribbed tights with my maxi skirt. The splash of tangerine in mid-Winter felt fabulous. This was my last day in New York. I also visited the Russian Tea Room across the street.. Video clips of that soon!

Mixing neon into my look again. This time with a tartan-like plaid print jacket. Part sweater, part coat? All comfort. I must admit that I have a mighty big crush on these american apparel riding pants. I do seem to wear them often enough don't I? That is until the scorching sunny, summer weather finally sets in. Then, it'll be all about shorts and dresses for me. What do you think about today's outfit of the day?

Some more snaps from my quick stint in New York for Fashion Week last February. One of my favorite things about traveling (apart from experiencing new places and people) is exploring the hotels. It's always a surprise to see where I will stay next. From the Trump Soho to the Empire (Chuck Bass's digs) to the Palace. I'm always thrilled and thankful to stay somewhere both comfortable and cool. This was the outfit I wore straight off the plane. I was freezing, the wind alone had me trembling. I felt cozy inside this turtleneck and coat, though. You can see more of this outfit here too.

I know, I know. I'm a little late sharing some of the last photos from my stint in New York this past February. Since I love the City so much, I tend to hang on to them.. in an attempt to make the visit seem not so long ago.. maybe? This was one of the pieces I was gifted by the lovely team at Alice+Olivia. I wore it to the show with my trusty Topshop boots and leather clad Zara coat. What a ball I had. Magnum Ice Cream, pop-happy music and models donning the latest garb were all displayed that night. I also had the pleasure of bumping into a reader, Lindsay, outside, before the show. It was nice meeting and chatting with you. :)
