Aquí tenemos la segunda parte de la presentación de las campañas de moda para esta primavera-verano 2013. Así como en el primer capítulo eché de menos más color, más calor y quizá algo menos de rigidez, en las campañas que traigo hoy podemos ver algo más de todo ello y, sobre todo, joyas como la campaña de Chanel, de la que os muestro una imagen. O, o la de Alexander Wang, quien ha logrado capturar su esencia transgresora y pura sin necesidad de mostrar ni un centímetro de tela.

Alexander Wang y Balenciaga presentan sus vídeo-colecciones

Los creativos saben que la moda se vende en movimiento. Es por ello por lo que cada vez más se apuesta en cada campaña por el vídeo como presentación o interacción con el público.

     La firma Alexander Wang ha contado en esta ocasión con A$AP Rocky, Diplo y un alternativo Penn Badgley para mostrar sus creaciones más invernales en un vídeo muy acertado.

Pero entretanto adelanto otoñal Balenciaga ha decidido destacar presentando su colección Resot 2013 con un vídeo que invita a no olvidar las vacaciones.

Standing in the middle of 7th Avenue for these photos, time seemed to stop. I was surrounded by the ambience and sounds only New York City has to offer. One local even stopped to watch and smile. Horns honked and taxis cabs passed by in a yellow blur. A 12-year-old girl asked if I was here for Fashion Week and which shows I was walking.. I blushed and said only as an attendee. Since it was cold (in February) I took advantage of pairing ribbed tights with my maxi skirt. The splash of tangerine in mid-Winter felt fabulous. This was my last day in New York. I also visited the Russian Tea Room across the street.. Video clips of that soon!

Comme de Garcons + Balenciaga

I find Chelsea in New York such a fun spot to hang out and get lost walking around in. I also enjoy the Upper East Side, SoHo and the Meatpacking District. I took some time out between shows and meetings to visit these two stores in Chelsea: Balenciaga and Comme de Garcons. I am hoping to pick out another Balenciaga Classic City bag soon, in what color? I don't know. Something Spring-ready I suppose. What do you suggest?

This time, it was an eclectic instrument that seemed to accessorize my outfit best. This was a present given to me from a very special friend. It made its way to me from Austin, Texas. This instrument is called a thumb piano. How do you like my outfit of the day?

Inspired (yet again!) by Nicole Richie and her enriching bohemian vibe, I pulled this look together. The kaftan is actually more of a coverup for the beach, however, I decided to style it for the city. Equal parts fun and comfort. Why not? What do you think... do you like this look?

I enjoyed the challenge of styling these very Beetlejuice reminiscent striped pants. A challenge it was, at first. Then I thought why not just play up the black and white theme? I think it worked. I probably never would have picked up pants like this before, but now I find that playing and dressing outside of the box can be a lot more fun. Besides, without the challenge I'd be bored.. :)

I'm only missing a beautiful, shiny silver Cartier watch. I saw one in New York City that I absolutely fell in love with..
