Aquí tenemos la segunda parte de la presentación de las campañas de moda para esta primavera-verano 2013. Así como en el primer capítulo eché de menos más color, más calor y quizá algo menos de rigidez, en las campañas que traigo hoy podemos ver algo más de todo ello y, sobre todo, joyas como la campaña de Chanel, de la que os muestro una imagen. O, o la de Alexander Wang, quien ha logrado capturar su esencia transgresora y pura sin necesidad de mostrar ni un centímetro de tela.

Alexander Wang y Balenciaga presentan sus vídeo-colecciones

Los creativos saben que la moda se vende en movimiento. Es por ello por lo que cada vez más se apuesta en cada campaña por el vídeo como presentación o interacción con el público.

     La firma Alexander Wang ha contado en esta ocasión con A$AP Rocky, Diplo y un alternativo Penn Badgley para mostrar sus creaciones más invernales en un vídeo muy acertado.

Pero entretanto adelanto otoñal Balenciaga ha decidido destacar presentando su colección Resot 2013 con un vídeo que invita a no olvidar las vacaciones.

Before Summer fully sets in, I wanted to take advantage of the somewhat misty and slightly rainy afternoons by donning my parka once more.. I am partial to wearing colors that match nature's seasons. I have a thing for hunter green. I opted to throw on the faux fur vest at the last minute. And these boots haven't seen the light of day in a while. They're terribly tall but oh so fun to wear. And they're comfortable, too! :)

Some more snaps from my quick stint in New York for Fashion Week last February. One of my favorite things about traveling (apart from experiencing new places and people) is exploring the hotels. It's always a surprise to see where I will stay next. From the Trump Soho to the Empire (Chuck Bass's digs) to the Palace. I'm always thrilled and thankful to stay somewhere both comfortable and cool. This was the outfit I wore straight off the plane. I was freezing, the wind alone had me trembling. I felt cozy inside this turtleneck and coat, though. You can see more of this outfit here too.

There's something so sexy yet also elegant about wearing a body con dress. The formfitting fabric creating a figure flattering silhouette. For the photos I wore it alone. In reality, I'd probably throw a jacket or cardigan over it. Only because I can be kind of shy and demure at times.. ;) And anyway, I had to shoot this look without a cover-up. Why you ask? Well, I really wanted to show the beautiful lace detailing adorning the neckline of the dress. I went with the nude Alexander Wang sandals and mixed in (a very Mad Men approved) navy structured bag.

BTW- totally random, but I must confess.. I am kind of GLEE Obsessed. (Thank you, Netflix!) ;)
