For those of you wondering what my more "everyday" looks well, look like, this post shares just that. I am obsessed with skinny jeans. Especially the partially stretchy -almost legging-like styles. I mainly enjoy wearing them because they pair well with almost any shoe. Making dressing that much easier. This top is so beautiful, breathy and fun, a fantastic layering piece. And, I must confess, I'm not a huge flip flops kind of girl, but these have a memory foam that is comforting and the basic color works with most of my summer wardrobe, too.

So, I cut my hair again. I love when it starts to get long, but it also starts to get heavy and a little unruly. Now, I feel fresh with this new trim. I had it reshaped, layered and totally thinned out. Now I think I can attempt ponytails and ballerina buns without incurring an excruciating headache.

I want to thank my Mom for today's photos. We had such a fun time at the park taking these. She loved my bag and blouse as much as I do. I can't wait to integrate this little jacket into future looks as well. With the sun slowly peeking through the cold clouds, Spring was here for a short while and then... BAM! Last night a mild cold front ran through. It's sort of chilly outside, again. In the meantime, I'll take advantage of wearing my boots and jeans just a little big longer...

I just can't seem to shake the neon-loving-girl out of me. I can't help it, I'm drawn to fluorescent colors the same way bees are drawn to honey. I find the almost eye-blinding brights, hypnotic and beautiful, all at once. I was so excited to sample these new jeans from Hudson. And extra excited they knew me enough to send the ones with the orange stripe. They're the perfect cropped jeans I have been searching high and low for. And, guess what? They glow in the dark!

The navy cape, gold watch and neon satchel seemed to round things off nicely.. and in my Converse I felt comfortable, always a plus. ;)

I found a great new spot for photos over the weekend. This great big park that has a lake, train rides for kids and adults alike, plus popcorn by the mile. It felt like Disney World to me, so I donned my Mouse Ears for a bit. The best part? Nobody looked at me like I was off my rocker.. haha. Wearing the hat here just felt.. right... Also this is the official debut of my latest Balenciaga bag (and yes, the same style one of you can win!) Do you like my outfit of the day?

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Holiday weekend. How did you spend yours? Mine was filled with family, food and festivities. I love to get all dressed up during the Holidays and wear my favorite sweaters and dresses. Sometimes, though, it's fun to dress down. Go casual and be comfortable. These particular photos were taken a bit before Christmas. We went to the Park to celebrate my younger brother's birthday with a barbecue. I enjoy walking in the woods and feeling infinitesimally small among the trees.

This Gorilla T Shirt has seen many a wearing. It definitely reminds me of Christopher Kane.

So here is another look in these boots for you guys today. Last week I dressed them up with a leather motorcycle jacket and a red Rag & Bone knit sweater. Today, I played with loose layers and neutral, autumnal colors. My favorite part about Fall weather is the chance of getting to mix and match many pieces. It's all about feeling comfortable but also cool and confident at the same time.
