I just can't seem to shake the neon-loving-girl out of me. I can't help it, I'm drawn to fluorescent colors the same way bees are drawn to honey. I find the almost eye-blinding brights, hypnotic and beautiful, all at once. I was so excited to sample these new jeans from Hudson. And extra excited they knew me enough to send the ones with the orange stripe. They're the perfect cropped jeans I have been searching high and low for. And, guess what? They glow in the dark!

The navy cape, gold watch and neon satchel seemed to round things off nicely.. and in my Converse I felt comfortable, always a plus. ;)

Feeling in much better spirits this morning. My Mother-in-Law seems to be doing better. We're still keeping an eye on her though, and praying. Thanks for all of your positive thoughts and notes!

These outfit photos (I was inspired by Nicole Richie's style of late) were taken on New Year's Eve, yet, I'm feeling just as happy today, simply knowing Aura is doing better. (BTW, these Hudson Jeans are super-stretchy and super-soft.)

Today has been dark and raining nonstop... I miss the cold, crisp Winter weather...

On a Shopping trip with my friend, Caroline, we popped into H&M to find some Winter wear. That's when I first spotted this faux fur vest in blue. "So Isabel Marant!" I exclaimed, and she agreed. Upon closer inspection, the vest made me think of something Olivia Palermo would purchase and wear to death. I loved it and knew I had to buy it too. And check out these jeans, at first glance they create a leather-like finish, due to a special coating which creates the waxy shine.

I fooled around during the shoot wearing the faux fur vest both belted and then open. Which way do you think it looks best?

Chocolate Shoppe

Last weekend we all went downtown to try this new ice cream parlour. It was 40ºF outside but inside the Shoppe was toasty and cozy. I highly recommend banana as a topping to any chocolate ice cream sundae, cone or scoop.

Now with Gossip girl and 90210 officially over, I don't know what to watch? Recommendations please? I'm already thinking about tackling the rest of Lost (I'm mid-season 4) and Heroes (mid-season 1) I really want something new though. I've heard really good things about Tudors. Anything else?
