I enjoyed the challenge of styling these very Beetlejuice reminiscent striped pants. A challenge it was, at first. Then I thought why not just play up the black and white theme? I think it worked. I probably never would have picked up pants like this before, but now I find that playing and dressing outside of the box can be a lot more fun. Besides, without the challenge I'd be bored.. :)

I'm only missing a beautiful, shiny silver Cartier watch. I saw one in New York City that I absolutely fell in love with..

I feel fabulous in this dress. The color is flattering and the silhouette so feminine. I want to run barefoot in a field of flowers, with braids in my hair. My favorite part about being a girl, is how many styles we can choose to wear. This dress fits neatly into my feminine mode. I hope to attend a few parties this Summer in my new red dress. Of course, since the dress is the main focus of this look, I wanted the surrounding pieces to remain classic and simple. Whenever I dress this way, I can't help but think Audrey Hepburn would approve. "Less is more." She was never one for ostentatiousness. Thus, all I needed were sunglasses, black heels, a silver watch and a black bag to match.

These metallic snakeskin print jeans from Armani Exchange are perfect for the Holiday season. I can already envision myself pairing them with chunky sweaters at Dinner parties and with wool coats and blazers in February for New York Fashion Week. Inspired by both the change of weather and Olivia Palermo, I decided to pair these pretty pants with a faux fur vest and black blouse. The patent pointy toe Stella McCartney sling-backs are not only comfortable but complementing. The only pop of color necessary? Red... on my lips and on my iPad case (which conveniently doubles as a clutch bag).

Taking my new bag out for a spin this morning. I couldn't wait to rock this new snakeskin coat with my Givenchy bag.. they seemed to attract each other, not unlike magnets. Oh, and my latest obsession for Fall/Winter season? Leather pants!! I want more.. can't get enough. And finally, debuting the Stella McCartney heels. Which I can say are definitely keepers. I'm wearing them as much as I can until tights come into play..

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, by the way. Hope for those of you celebrating to have a fun day, and be safe. I can't wait to watch some more scary movies tonight after our dinner party. What are your plans for the night?
