Marie Antoinette Would Wear this Ring

I was recently contacted by Alex Inn to play with a few pieces of her fabulous jewelry designs. My first choice? This YSL Arty Oval style ring in red. Remember how much I loved and wore my YSL turquoise one last summer here? And here.

The only thing this ring is missing is a room full of party guests and red velvet mini cakes à la Marie Antoniette (the Kirsten Dunst version) ...Mmm.

" NEW IN " Apple iPhone 4S

Teen Vogue Dec/Jan, Beso Beso rings, Apple iPhone 4S

This phone couldn't come at a handier time, before Holiday travels begin. I have the best memory in the world. However, when it comes to directions, I am always getting lost. Siri and GPS apps will be perfect for that. I'm also a Weather nerd. It's good to have a heads up on the weather for blog shoots, so this is mighty helpful. Alex is very tech minded and one of his favorite things to do is research and shop for the next "it" phone. So, of course since that's the most boring kind of shopping in the World, I leave all things tech to him. I'm very happy with my new phone. Thank you, Alex! :)

" NAIL POLISH " Metallic Silver Belles

This is the nail polish color I've been sporting as of late. Very metallic and all kinds of silvery shine. It makes me think of Christmas presents, streamers and silver bells. How do you like it? One day I will share with you my entire nail polish collection. ;)

I'm thinking of wearing green or gold nail polish next. Suggestions??

It's all about the Shoes for today's post. How do you like my new babies? And how about my new chunky rings? Pastels in the purple and blue families always make me smile, so do their given names: Barbie and Aphrodite. I'm definitely packing these rings for New York Fashion Week.. Black Agate Ring

I always fall for three things: chunky knits, clean-cut boys and oversize rings. This beautiful ring was sent to me courtesy of Alex and Vina. I chose a dark Agate stone for Winter, one that I can happily mix into my Spring/Summer wardrobe as well.

Yesterday my eyes couldn't help wandering over to the magazine rack at the market. Mary-Kate Olsen and her baby doll eyes stared straight ahead as they twinkled out of the vast, glossy sea.

Upon devouring the article, I increasingly became more infatuated with Mary-Kate and her sister Ashley. I've always been fond of their sense of style, confidence and pallor. A particular section, mid-article, points out how close they are and how much support they give one another. "Other half" MK calls it. It's great to see how a family can come together, and stay together, instead of letting the media pull it apart or get tarnished by fame.

At the end of the editorial, Mary-Kate is described as lighting up whenever she starts to talk about Fashion. I feel the very same way!

Mary-Kate and I both share an unbridled love for excessively chunky rings. I tried to cram as many of my favorites as I possibly could into this vintage pewter soap dish.

Woke Up Late

New jewelry from Yosca, Greece and Israel. The evil eye charm bracelet matches my ring perfectly. The scarab charm necklace is simply decadent.

After a delicious Chinese meal I read my fortune, snugly wrapped into a crunchy cookie.

My sidekick, Sweety. A very intelligent Boston Terrier.

This Noir panda ring is seriously becoming a great staple this Summer.

Reading Material. I just started Twilight this week, only a few chapters in. Nylon magazine and of course the ubiquitous gossip rags.

When it rains I like to tie the hems of my jeans up with ankle strap sandals.

Well guys, I am finally back from my 14+ hour road trip from Miami. I got to spend time with many of my favorite relatives, the beach and great food. I look forward to another identical trip soon... lots of pictures to share.
