After yesterday's post, I received quite a number of emails inquiring about my lipstick color. When I was in high school (even College!) I would have never had the guts to play up my lips or eyes in such an impactive way. Now, thanks to blogging and experimenting with new makeup choices and colors, I completely embrace this "new look" for myself. I also can't wait for Spring to play with new, bright and punchy colors. Now, if only neon fashion and makeup could meet. Wouldn't that make quite the statement for Spring? ;)

Mirror, Mirror " HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 "

Usually I'm in front of the camera. Today I'm behind it saying THANK YOU for reading, supporting, tweeting, and facebook-ing with me. I love each and every one of you. I hope 2012 brings us even more adventures, fun and fantastic fashion ideas. I also hope I get the chance to meet more of you in person! Some of the best friendships I have made have been through blogging! :)

I couldn't resist these when I first saw them on Zoe Saldaña. Being a big fan of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer already, I'm happy to add the Clubmaster to my growing family.

Red Lipstick + Miranda Kerr

All Summer long I have gravitated towards Hot Pink and Peach Lipstick. Now that Fall is 'round the bend, I'll be reaching for Red and Wine lipsticks instead. To be quite honest, it was seeing Miranda Kerr tooling around Paris in red lips that inspired me to rotate my colors. And what better color to embrace than Red, as the leaves start to change and the atmosphere cools down?

Now, if only I could get my hands on the perfect black leather shorts too?

I'm Seeing Red ... and Gold

Finished dinner and now I'm craving something sweet, in a red hue. How about you?

(1) Erin Wasson brings casual cool back with a red shirt (great options from Wildfox Couture here, here and here) figure in a star printed bikini bottom and mussed up beach hair for added edge..

(2) M.A.C. makes an amazing red lipstick it seems, I just can't seem to find the name? Additional options (Elizabeth Arden and Palladio ) Either goes great with the Rebecca Minkoff MAC clutch.

(3) And then there's Anna Selezneva during New York Fashion Week (taken just after the Ports 1961 S/S 2011 show) in a dreamy Gold jacket... I really want one. Awesome options from Dennis Basso, Vince and this spectacular trench coat from Maison Martin Margiela.

Twilight

I have some odd collecting habits. One of them being that yes, I do collect/save various Starbucks cups from Christmas, etc. I kind of have the hook-up and whenever I go in they give me pastry samples and free cups. Namely from this one young barista, who always seems to blush when I come in for my drink... lol. If you are reading this, "hey."
