As I sat down to write this post today, I realized that Christmas will soon be here. In less than 61 days. Christmas Eve is my favorite. Of course, I also can't wait for Thanksgiving. It's the coziest of Holidays. Just like this fuzzy faux fur leopard print coat. I'm so happy the Weather is finally letting me play with it again.

I grabbed a quick brunch in this today, after meeting up with a prospective new client. I work part/time writing for local magazines about Fashion, I also Style clients. Acting as a personal shopper, I help them select options for events, parties, and travel. It's a really fun job. I've been doing this since the day I started working at Barneys New York after College.

I felt as if I had stepped into a modern day Cinderella fairytale when I wore this dress to lunch today. The length was so fun to swish and twirl around in. The on trend pleating and color divine, I really can't wait to wear this dress again soon. The coral adorned bracelet on my arm is courtesy of Bevello, a local Boutique in Raleigh. And finally, the debut of my new, vintage Chanel bag from Adore. This beautiful Chanel bag has many stories to tell (and share) with me...

Little Blue Dress

This blue bubble dress brought out the girly girl in me. I can easily imagine both Lauren Conrad and Alexis Bledel wearing it. It would make for a beautiful Birthday dinner dress or to attend Fashion Week in September with. It also brought out my L.A.M.B. sandals again. I love their simple design so much, and that they're black. I'm actually on the hunt for something similar, in a strappy, brown style now. Happy Tuesday!!

How has your week been so far? I hope it's been great. I finally sat down and watched Despicable Me last night. Can I just say it's my new (maybe forever) favorite movie? Pharrell Williams set the tone through the soundtrack and Steve Carell warmed my heart. I am just like the littlest girl, Agnes. Collecting anything with a Unicorn on it!

As for my outfit today, I broke one of my own rules: denim on denim. I never do it. Yet seeing the varying washes and styles it seemed approachable. I love these train conductor pants. The cut is just right for my long legs and adds a sixties touch, which I of course adore.

Hello March! I can feel it. Spring is most certainly here. It's finally starting to warm up again. After being immersed in sweaters and boots for the longest time, I can begin to slowly swap them out for sandals and shorts again. I want to know what you are most excited to wear this Spring? L.A.M.B. Fall 2011 RTW

New York Fashion Week came to a close with Gwen Stefani's Fall show, full of theatrics and glamour girls, literally. Gwen sent out six distinct groups of perfectly coiffed and clothed models. The collection started with Soldier girls and was punctuated with Glamour girls. Raga Muffin, London, Buffalo and Mod girls took center stage. The funky vibe set by the eclectic, and a little bit eighties, soundtrack merged well with the larger than life video screen clips playing in loop. My favorite pieces came from the Ragga Muffin and Buffalo girls. Think: Structured jackets, bright colors, blanket plaids and sky-high knit hats.

L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 Sandals

Look what came in the mail today. Happy Valentine's Day indeed! These sandals are so sexy and feminine. The beauty in the design is the simplicity, with just enough edge. The eighties seem to be where the influence stemmed from. Activewear was big in the eighties and clearly comes to focus in the design of this sandal. Gwen Stefani has the most amazing sense of style, self-confidence and flair. She doesn’t follow trends, she starts them. I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve next...

Now I really want Spring to arrive. I can't wait to wear them out on the town!!!
