Un año más la revista Forbes enumera las 10 modelos mejor pagadas del pasado año 2011 y de nuevo Gisele Bündchen encabeza la lista con más de 45 millones de dólares de ingresos. Sorprende la diferencia respecto a la segunda de ranking. Kate Moss logra la plata con sus 9,2 millones gracias a sus campañas publicitarias durante el pasado año. La veteranía es un grado y está muy bien remunerada.

One of my favorite movies is Pretty Woman. Julia Roberts is such a charming actress. The love story that plays out between Roberts and Richard Gere has to be one of the most romantic and adorable stories. Who knows if I was hoping for the same kind of romance when I first purchased these boots? I find them sexy, fun and fashion-forward. I decided to take them out for this outfit today-- before all Hell breaks loose and the sweltering sun comes out for good. So say hello, and then bye-bye until Fall/Winter 2012. ;)

Marc Jacobs and Kate Moss in Fashion

Books have been written (see below) about Kate Moss and her legendary sense of style. She has turned some of the simplest wardrobe staples into must-have pieces. To list a few: Blazers, denim cut offs, slouchy boots (a la Vivienne Westwood Pirate style) and the fringed Minnetonka style. Hunter Wellies, vintage dresses, fur coats, floppy hats, stripes and skinny jeans can also be spotted on Moss day and night. Mixing and matching is Kate's utmost specialty.

Kate doesn’t seem to let fame affect her either. She parties, goes makeup free and lives her love life out in the open. She is Kate Moss, take it or leave it. I'll take it!

It was 2004 when Marc Jacobs first caught my attention. His colorful and fun Marc by Marc Jacobs line was what drew me in. Youthful, refreshing and feminine all rolled into one. Maybe it was Marissa Cooper (from The OC) wearing his pretty sweaters, flirty frocks and flats or when he spearheaded Louis Vuitton's first RTW Collection, either way I was hooked on Marc. He exudes confidence, his creativity is through the roof and he inspires me to grab fashion by the horns and throw every single rule out of the window. Fashion is about self expression and that is what Marc Jacobs encompasses in every single one of his collections, collaborations and fragrances.

Waiting for my Ship to come, but my Ship's not coming back ...

After enjoying a leisurely brunch in Miami Beach at News Cafe, I decided to pop into Barnes & Noble on my way home. Namely to pick up the Kate Moss Style book. To my dismay, it was already SOLD OUT!!!! Did anyone manage to get their hands on it? I want details!! For now, it will just have to go on my ever expanding Christmas Wish List ...
