When I first received this Navy blue T Shirt, I could not stop fawning over the softness of the fabric. Initially, I chose the piece for it's rich, navy hue. I knew I wanted to mix black in with the navy, a delightful color combination in my opinion. Mary Kate and Ashley know how to wear staples and take them to the next level. I was inspired to try something new and came up with a DIY Project. I turned a romper into shorts and paired it with my new T Shirt, sparkly blazer and velvet loafers.

I'm definitely hung up on loafers and slippers lately. There's something so luxurious about strolling in fancy flats. Don't you agree? You get comfort out of the deal, as well as an easy laid-back sense of style. Being that I'm a huge skinny jeans fan, flats are the perfect match. The fact that these slippers come in jewel toned velvet (for under $40!) is just icing on the cake.
